GO is web version  of the technical-scientific magazine GEOMINAS, which is published every fourth month (april, august, december) from Earth Sciences School of Universidad de Oriente, through Graduated and Friends of Geomines School of Universidad de Oriente Foundation (FUNDAGEOMINAS, Spanish acronym); the magazineGEOMINAS is published since 1964.

GO has been created with the vision of promote and stimulate the scientific investigation in the geosciences and diffuse it to contribute with global knowledge.

GO is specialized in geosciences, being its high-priority topics the geologic ones, mining, geologic engineering, natural resources, territorial ordination, energy, ecology and environment.

GO diffuses the articles, rehearsals, interviews and original communications, with primacy in the high-priority areas of the magazine GEOMINAS.

The content of the publications is of the whole responsibility of its authors, and in no way of GO, neither of the magazine GEOMINAS, neither of FUNDAGEOMINAS, neither of Earth Sciences School of Universidad de Oriente.

Authors have accepted that their contributions to GEOMINAS have not been published neither sent it to any other organs of diffusion.
