NORMS FOR AUTHORS

The papers should be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English in any Word® for Windows® version. The images should be annexed in format BMP, PCX, PNG, JPG, GIF or TIF; in gray scale with resolution 300 ppp or higher. The papers will be presented in any electronic storage for PC's or by indicated electronic mail.

The maximum extension for papers will be 12 pages, letter size with superior, inferior and right margin of 3 cm and left margin of 4 cm, written in Arial 12, 1,5 lines. The indicated extension includes charts, graphics, figures, maps and images. The papers will not contain political declarations.

At the beginning of the paper title of the same should appear; thematic area belongs the paper should be pointed out; author(s) name(s) with job address, telephone(s) number(s), fax(es) number(s), e-mail(s); the papers will have resumen in Spanish and abstract in English, of extension not bigger than 200 words; both should describe shortly, in an only paragraph, the objective and the most relevant methods, results and conclusions of the investigation work; 5 key words should be included in Spanish and in English. The paper will contain, at least, the following sections: Introduction, Problem or hypothesis, Methodology, Results, Conclusions and References.

All the illustrations, maps, graphics, charts and figures, they should have their respective descriptions. The figures will be identified below the same and they will be numbered in Arabic. The tables will be identified above the same and they will be numbered in Roman. The maps will show with clarity what wants show, which is why the appropriate scale will be selected. The pictures should be of strong contrasts, accompanied by an explanation or description of the reason of the same one. Abstain from annexing images or blurred pictures because they will not be published.

Papers that contain mathematical signs should be presented with clarity and perfectly identifiable; defining them where they appear for the first time. The equations or formulas will be converted as images in anyone of the indicated formats.

The cites and references should obey the following thing: Cites will indicate the first author's last name continued by second author's last name or for et al. if there is more than two authors, and year of publication. For example: (Herrero, 2002) or (Herrero and Montes, 2001) or (Vera et al., 2000).

All cites should be linked with reference that it will be listed at the final section of the paper denominated “References” Such a list will be elaborated in authors' alphabetical order and will adjust to the following examples:

Once the papers are received they will be revised by specialists that constitute the Arbitration Commitee, the papers will be able to be returned to be improved or completed. In the event of being rejected the originals will not be returned to their authors.

The authors will suggest three possible arbiters with their respective addresses, fax number and e-mail.
